I love you 3 plus pets, they add so much credibility to your honest approach to Keto. Lately, though, the adds are overwhelming and annoying when trying to navigate through the crap to get the thing I

I had whey protein powder on hand and used it. I forgot that it clumps when mixed with hot ingredients. NEXT TIME, I’ll let the cacao butter cool off! I’m glad I only made a single serving 🙂

On your January 2020 trailer video you mentioned TWO INGREDIENT duck fat and 78% cacao chocolate, but you didn’t mention the ratio, i.e. how much duck fat per how much chocolate. When I saw the video, I bought the molds, the duck fat and chocolate, but never saw a recipe come through

Question – this makes 1 fat bomb and my container is 3 ounces each – so how many ounces is this fat bomb ?
Sarah C says
The weights given in the recipe add up to just about 1 ounce total (28 grams = 1 ounce)

Megha, I’ve been watching many of your and your husband’s YouTube videos regarding the Keto lifestyle. I’ve been wanting to start following the Keto food plan, because it’s healthy and mainly to lose my excess weight. However, I cannot find anywhere what the basics of a Keto plan are, and how to successfully maximize losing all my excess weight as quickly and sustainably as I can, and also how to do it affordably without having to purchase pills and other items that increase the cost unnecessarily. Can you direct me to where I can discover how to begin and follow the Keto plan, what Macros are and how many I should have, how I can maximize losing all my excess weight and at the same time maintain an effective energy level, how much water I should drink each day and all the other basics?
Miranda (KetoConnect) says
Hi Nancy! We have a really helpful beginners guide that would be a great place to start: The Beginner’s Guide to Keto

What is MCT oil powder? Why do you use it? Where can I get it? Why do you use Himalayan salt and can I use sea salt? Where can I get the fat bomb molds?
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
P.S. Love your baby! So sweet!

can I add vanilla extract or will that mess up the stability? sorry if it sounds like a silly question I’m new to cooking in general

Guys…guys…guys. One word: Pemmican. It’s a bit of an adventure to make, but you seem like adventurous folk. I’m not a fan of sweet, and pemmican, a shelf stable fat bomb that is centuries old, fit the bill for me. (True story: When I was living in California, I was super prepped for earthquakes. Bug out backpacks under the beds…the whole nine yards. I made a bunch of pemmican and stored it in the basement. I wasn’t keto-ing then, but I figured it would provide shelf stable calories if the kitchen was demolished and the stores closed. January 17, 1994 happened, big earthquake. Kitchen demolished. Stores closed. House was stable though, and I went down the the basement to grab some of our earthquake eats. The kids had found the pemmican and in four months, eaten every last bit. We’re talking four quart jars of seriously dense calories. Smart kids.)

In the Video you mentioned Hemp hearts and that you were not going to put them in there. Is there a reason you didn’t put them in the recipe? How much would you use if you did want them in the recipe? Thank you, I can’t wait to make these!!!
Olivia Kendrick says
They just left them out to give you a more basic recipe so that you can decide to add-in different things yourself. It is really up to you, maybe 1-3 teaspoons per fat bomb depending on how much you like hemp hearts.
