Since founding KetoConnect in 2016, we have been on a mission to make a low carb lifestyle approachable to the masses. We accomplish this by creating delicious recipes, sharing our ketogenic lifestyle on social media and doing our best to motivate and inspire others on their journey to health.

Job Description

KetoConnect is seeking a Content Writer for a full-time remote job. As a content writer you will work with our small team to produce the best health and nutrition content possible.

Required Skill Set

• Write content that is clear, easy to read, and engaging.
• Good understanding of writing for SEO and the ability to learn and implement current SEO best practices.
• Highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
• You have some understanding of cooking, baking and low carb/keto substitutions.
• You are interested in being part of a small company and contribute to it's long-term growth.

Nice to Have Skills

• 2+ years writing SEO optimized content.
• Familiarity with ranking pages in google, capturing feature snippets, and white hat link-building techniques.
• Experience with tools like Surfer SEO, Ahrefs, and SEMRush.
• Experience writing health and nutrition content.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.

The Job

• Full-time 40 hours per week remote work.
• $12-$20 per hour starting salary based on experience and qualifications.
• Work hours are flexible as long as productivity goals are met.
• You will be responsible for producing 2 new articles per week, as well as updating 3-5 articles per week.
• You will pick up miscellaneous tasks as a member of a small team.
