I have granulated stevia that states it can be used in equal parts as regular sugar. How much would be needed for this recipe?
Here is a conversion chart for figuring out different sweetener substitutions! https://www.wholesomeyum.com/natural-low-carb-sweeteners-guide-conversion-chart/
This was a perfect dessert, gave me my chocolate fix and I’m done for the night.
I am not a fan of Stevia drops so I tend not to make sweet treats. But I just started to use the Lakanto “sugar” what is a drop of stevia equal to?
If I use powdered swerve instead of stevia, how much would I use?
You can find a sweetener conversion chart from doing a quick google search!
Nutrition Facts. What is the serving size for this and how many servings?
Sorry, we don’t measure serving sizes, we divide it into 4.
How much is 1 serving?
Sorry, we just divide the recipe into four servings. We don’t measure or weigh the serving.
You guys nailed it with this recipe! Superb!
I already have 8oz block of cream cheese. Can I use that instead? Would the nutritional Facta be similar as well?
Yes that will work great!
What is the serving size per carb amount?
Hi Megha,

Amazing recipe! I also took Lindt 90% dark chocolate and some homemade granola I made out of pumpkin seeds, almonds, unsweetened coconut, coconut oil, and stevia – I put the dark chocolate in a food processor to pulverize and folded it into the granola for a healthy Keto topping! Yum!
Hi! Im new to all of this, I bought liquid stevia blend (kroger brand). It reads one squeeze equals 1 teaspoon of sugar. Should I do 25 drops? Or how many teaspoons should I do? Thanks!!
You could start with 10 drops and see how it tastes. Not really sure if their squeeze is the same as our “drop”! You will have to test it out!
I have a hard time with sweeteners. They leave a horrible after taste. Haven’t tried the Stevie yet. How do you get around this. I’m a real newbie on the keto low carb learning curve.
You could try Stevia or liquid monk fruit!
This is so good that I’ve made it 2 weeks in a row now, and I doubled the recipe this time. So creamy and delicious. i use < a packet of sweet n low (saccharin) bc I can’t stand stevia (I’ve used Sweet Leaf and 365). Also added a tsp of vanilla. Thanks for the recipe!!
I just made this chocolate mousse and I think it’s changed my life!
Just made it. It’s in the refrigerator chilling. I tasted a spoonful and all my gosh thank you guys so much.
Chocolate cravings taken care of
hi there, i am going to try this recipe and i was wondering if you have ever tried freezing it? i was only able to get a large container of mascarpone cheese and i dont know what else i will use it for lol. thanks
We’ve never frozen it, but it shouldn’t be an issue – you would just let it sit out to thaw a bit before serving!
Hello
Just made the chocolate mousse!!! Super yummy!
A favorite to keep on the list forEver!!
Thanks for all your doing and your recipes
Nancy
I made this today and I ate with Megha delicious cake.. split cake into 3 round slices and add mousse like icing.. super tasty..
I love you guys and your amazing recipes. Although the Private Selection brand of mascarpone tastes the best, it also has the highest carb count at about 28 carbs for the entire container, I think that brings this recipe in at well over 3.5 carbs per serving. Am I missing something?
You are right – we didn’t end up using that brand, though it is shown in the video. We realized we bought the wrong brand, which can happen time to time! Makes reading labels so important 🙂
