Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to try these Walnut Cookies, but Matt says they are the best cookies we’ve made thus far. I can attest to that given how quickly he ate the entire batch of 16! It’s a quick recipe to throw together and bake, especially during the busy holiday season. As long as you have a food processor you are goo to make these any time of the year. Keep scrolling to see the great macros and easy steps on how to make them!

Easy Keto Desserts
The best desserts are easy keto desserts, and these may be one of the easiest! All you have to do is combine all the ingredients in a food processor until a dough is formed and then scoop it out on to baking sheets and bake till buttery, walnut perfection! If you’re more of an indulgent dessert eater like myself, maybe cookies won’t do the trick. In that case we do have other easy keto desserts, such as our low carb chocolate crust cheesecakes and low carb donuts! With the holidays approaching you might just want to make them all!

The Best, Low Carb Holiday Cookies!
These by far rank up in the best, low carb holiday cookies category and we know you’ll agree! However, if you’re allergic to tree nuts like I am we have plenty of other nut free dessert options for you to choose from. We’ve got chewy chocolate chip cookies made with coconut flour, which are my absolute favorite, and we’ve also got olive oil cake and pumpkin cheesecake bites with a coconut flour crust!

Nut Meg Spiced Walnut Cookies
If you aren’t a fan of nutmeg, you can definitely swap it out for another spice, such as cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice. Nutmeg just reminds us of the holiday season so we thought it would be a nice touch. But, just like with most of our recipes, we are providing you the perfect base to take it to another level of flavor! You can use ground pecans instead and add in some maple extract for a maple pecan twist. Whether or not you make this exact walnut cookies recipe, we know you’ll love them even with your own twist.

This was REALLY good. Great to have a break from almond flour sweets. I did it without a food processor. I whacked the walnuts in a plastic bag with the flat end of a meat tenderizer hammer until it was powder, and used softened butter, it all mixed together easily. The nutmeg tastes great, I wouldn’t use any other spice for this. Really good cookies.
I really look forward to trying these-all the ingredients are in my pantry RIGHT NOW! yay!
I had to make the cookies twice with half the erythritol on the 2nd batch because the first batch was way to sweet !!!! They were
My hubby and I loved this recipe! I didn’t have coconut flour, so I used almond instead and it was fine. I am going to try it with a pinch of cardamom next time 🙂
I only have walnut flour…how much should I use to be equivalent to 1 cup walnuts?
Made these dough was a little stiff, so I added an egg and 1 tsp of baking powder and used cinnamon they were so good!
Oh My Golly!!!!! I could sit and eat all of those cookies! Those are THE BEST Keto cookies i have eaten in the 10 months we have been on this new way of life eating.
I replaced the Nutmeg with Pumpkin Pie Spice. So so so Good!
Thank you so much for the recipe…..
I finally just made these wonderful cookies. so easy! the only thing I did differently was I scooped all the dough onto plastic wrap, rolled it in a 2 1/4″ diameter log, then put into the fridge for about an hour. Once it hardened, it was so easy to cut into 16 rounds. I will certainly be making these again and again.
Hi
How much butter in grams please??
8 tbsp butter is equal to 113 grams of butter.
Love these!! Learning how to use coconut flour and I am making these weekly!! I add 1\4 c. dark chocolate chips and only use 1\2 c. of walnuts. I use Truvia and only use 1\4 c. DELICIOUS!! Thanks y’all!!
These are Scrumptious! We used erythritol/monkfruit blend, about 3/8ths cup, love them! Thank you!
I made and they are super delicious. Do you store in the fridge or cupboard? I don’t want them to go soft
You can store at room temp for around 1 week I would say, they will last longer in the fridge.
Hi! These look so good, but I am not a fan of coconut flour, or anything coconut! Can I use almond flour instead, and how would it change measurement?
You could, but it wouldn’t turn out as dense and hold together as well. You would also have to add 3-4x more flour
I must make these cookies. I just have one question, though. The recipe calls for 1 cup of walnuts. Is that 1 cup whole or 1 cup chopped? I only have chopped. Thanks.
I just made these and they are delicious! However, when I input my ingredients into myfitnesspal my cookies come out to be 5.1g net carbs/cookie. I compared all my ingredients with yours and all of the nutrional values are the same so I don’t know why they are so much higher. Makes me super sad!
My batch also made 21 cookies 🙂
Are you subtracting carbs from erythritol? We do that.
These cookies are literally the easiest most delicious cookies I have ever made! Matt is right! best cookies so far! cant wait to get your cookbook you guys save my life!
Yess! So great to hear – sadly I can’t try them, but I trust your opinion 😉
Hey. Can you use almond flour instead?
We haven’t tried it but it may just work! Let us know if you give it a go 🙂
Can I use coconut sugar instead of erythritol . I don’t know how you talk so highly of erythritol it has a really bad
after taste . Especially when you bake with it . I ordered it from amazon because you guys like it and it’s awful .
I have not found a sweetener that taste ok
Hello,
I’m new to Keto and new to KetoConnect so I’m a bit late on this comment. I love how you guys put how to find your recipes on My Fitness Pal! So helpful! But in this recipe it lists the carbs at 2.0 for one cookie instead of 1 as you list it. All the other nutritional info is the same but the carbs. Is this an error o?n your part or theirs. Thank you again for all the great info and recipes!
