Low Carb Buffalo Chicken Burgers
Ingredients:
- 8 oz cooked chicken breast
- 2 oz cream cheese, room temp
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp franks red hot sauce
- ghee/coconut oil/tallow for frying
Instructions:
- Shred or chop up the cooked chicken breast and add to a medium sized bowl along with the remaining ingredients.
- Using a spatula or fork combine everything until fully incorporated. Microwaving it for 15-20 seconds can help melt everything down and form together better.
- Once fully incorporated, form 2 medium sized patties and place them on a plate. Freeze for 15 minutes.
- Heat a medium skillet over high heat and add some fat to the pan (1/4 inch thick layer should be good enough).
- Add in the frozen burgers and cook 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned and crispy. Serve immediately!

These taste awesome! I made small 2oz burgers and used canned chicken. I have more cans so I am going to make more and freeze for quick snacks. Maybe tomorrow I will share with the family. Thank you for the recipe!
Glad you liked them!
If I wanted to make multiple servings at a time and freeze some, do you think they would hold up? Would you suggest keeping them frozen before the cook or after? Thank you!
Super easy and fun to make!
These look super delicious and incredibly easy however being from Buffalo (Home of the Original Chicken Wings) I would change it up (only a little bit) Wings are traditionally served with Bleu Cheese and celery sticks. With the Cream Cheese, I would most definitely incorporate chopped celery and bleu cheese…then follow the freeze / fry method as described in the video. Thanks so much for the idea. 🙂
YUM!! I’m making these for meal prep. Oh my gosh cant wait!!
Just a quick question tho< are they really almost 500 calories?
Yup!
Just made these and they were perfect! Love them and will make them again and again!
