- 1 dash Orange Bitters
- 2 dash Angostura Bitters
- 2 tsp Brown Sugar Replacement Syrup
- 2 oz Whiskey Your choice! I used Four Roses but also suggest Rittenhouse Rye
"Brown Sugar" Simple Syrup
- 1+1/2 cup Water
- 1+1/2 tsp Liquid Stevia
- 2+1/2 tsp Molasses
- 1/8 tsp Xanthan Gum
Start by making the "brown sugar" simple syrup. To bypass this step you can simply use stevia instead.
In a saucepan over low heat mix together water, stevia, molasses and xanthan gum until combined.
Set the brown sugar replacement aside.
In a cocktail shaker add ice, whiskey, bitters and 2 tsp of the brown sugar replacement mixture.
Shake until combined and chilled. Pour into an old fashioned glass over ice and enjoy.
